We had a wonderful time at the Baby shower that Becky organized. We are so grateful for having such wonderful friends and family. The gifts we received were way too much. Some of the largest items included a crib, stoller and car seat. Incredible. There were also soooo many cute clothes and handy things. Can't wait to use them all.

Asked the technician if he could tell what the sex of the baby is. He said he thinks it's a GIRL. (I asked him how many times he had been wrong    :-) He said never).
   
It was really exciting. He was very good and showed me the umbilical cord and where he thought the belly button would end up :-)

We thought it might be fun to show you how things are changing every two weeks.

Things change quickly. Time goes so fast. The technician told us it is a GIRL!  We are cautiously believing her. I go back for another ultrasound at 26 weeks so will ask for a second opinion :-). "She" started kicking this week. Kicked so hard on the first day that John was able to feel it too. Such a strange feeling but it brings a smile to my face everytime it happens. I am sure that once she starts keeping me up with her kicking I might not like it quite as much
Here "she" is at 20weeks. I think "she" looks like an alien.

Here was our little blobb at 8 weeks. Hard to tell but the little white shape inside the sac is our little baby. We also got to see the heart beating on the screen. SOOOOO cool! Very excited.
